Taito will release the tabletop game center "EGRET II mini" on March 2, 2022. The price is 18,678 yen (tax included). We have started accepting reservations from June 4th.
"EGRET II mini" is an arcade cabinet type game machine that reproduces the arcade cabinet "EGRET II" that appeared in 1996 in desktop size. Built-in games that were active in arcades from the 1978 release "Space Invaders" to the 1990s. In addition to being able to enjoy 40 titles of games with the main unit alone, it is possible to play 10 more titles with an optional expansion set.
In addition, the recorded titles will be released on the official website and Twitter. In the future, we plan to release additional titles using SD cards.
In addition, the specifications of the game machine itself, such as a newly developed 5-inch LCD monitor with an aspect ratio of 4:3 that matches the game at the time, are as follows. In addition to three types of dedicated controllers sold separately, two types of first-time limited sets are scheduled to be released at the same time.
