In addition to improving image quality, I think that it is a considerable strength that the number of lenses has increased to three with the appearance of iPhone 11 Pro.This has physically reproduced wide -angle, standard, and telephoto instead of digital zoom.I sometimes use the iPhone 12 Pro as a sub camera, but I am definitely improved than the old iPhone.

However, the only dissatisfaction was that the depth of the subject was deep.This is a sense of sensor size.The cinematic mode of iPhone13 has created a pseudo blur taste by software processing and has broken through this problem!This idea is really amazing (laughs).

I usually go to the site with the equipment compactly, but I couldn't fit it smaller than the carry bag in the above photo.However, when the iPhone is the main camera, you can go with a tote bag (laughs).In a way, it is the strongest camera for a video grapher style that can do one -opt site.

● Shooting with the ease of iPhone

The shooting style can be done quite roughly.This time, I brought a tripod, but it ended without using it because the image stabilization was excellent.

In order to take advantage of this simplicity, I tried crane -like movement using the microphone boom.There was no problem at all because it was as heavy as gun microphone.It is recommended because it is a very dynamic angle by using it with a wide -angle lens.

● Accuracy of cinematic mode

Well, cinematic mode.This is amazing.It automatically recognizes the subject and blures the background.You can also send focus.For example, in the case of the angle of the above image, if you slide to the right, the focus will automatically move to the background.This is better than a poor focusman.You can play with the aperture value, and it is a pseudo blur, but when you touch it, it is an illusion that it is real.

● Cinematic mode issues

A pseudo blur expression means that the person is specified by specifying a person in editing and hitting a blur.It is cinematic mode that performs it instantly, but I felt that there was room for improvement in the edge.

This time, I shot everything openly (F2) to check the blur, but at first glance it is very beautiful, but if you look closely, the edge of the mask is sweet, and the blur of the hair part is unnatural.I did it.

It doesn't seem to be able to recognize too much.However, this ambiguity gives a unique atmosphere ... I don't hate it (laughs).It will be like a reminiscence scene that you often see in dramas.

In addition, it was difficult for a wide -angle camera to be unusable in cinematic mode.In addition, the record format is fixed 1080 / 30p.I didn't know this while I was shooting, and I shot while predicting about 30P as far as I could see.If you have a cinema mode, use 24p!I thought (laughs).This specification is really a mystery.Apple with sweet stuffing.

When I shot MV in cinematic mode, I thought it was a very useful function.It is really wonderful to be able to take this level of images with this simplicity.

The revolution of video shooting caused by EOS 5D Mark II is finally like a smartphone ...From an amateur's point of view, there is an image of a professional camera because it has a blurred taste, but with the appearance of cinema mode, I feel that the border with professionals has finally disappeared.

It's a terrible era.I think the problem of resolution, number of frames, and edges will be improved in about two generations ...I often joked and said, "I don't have a budget, so I'll take it on my iPhone?"Reducing labor costs, smooth shooting, lightweight equipment and does not take up space.I think it is only a merit from the client.
