Uses a sliding door that is convenient for designing attachments
The Wagon R Smile is a new model that combines the convenience of a sliding door with the unique design of the Wagon R's traditional features of a large interior space and high functionality.
The design theme of "My Style His My Wagon" is a simple and attached design with a square body and round headlamps. The overall height is 65mm higher than the Wagon R, and a sliding door with an opening width (600mm) equivalent to the Spacia and a rear step ground clearance (335mm) is adopted, making it easy to get on and off.
The interior features a richly rounded instrument panel top and softly shaped color panels. The head clearance has been expanded by increasing the indoor height, and the easy-to-use seat arrangement is inherited from the Wagon R.
The power train uses the R06 naturally aspirated engine, which is well-established in the Hustler and Wagon R, and the high-end grade also uses a mild hybrid system. Safety equipment is also enhanced, such as "Suzuki Safety Support" equipped with dual camera brake support as standard equipment on all models. It seems to be a good model for the user reserve army who wants a light car with a sliding door but does not need a height wagon. (Photo: Hidekazu Nagamoto)
