Smart Rubik's Cube "JUNECUBE" has appeared on Kickstarter and is seeking investment.
JUNECUBE is a Rubik's Cube that lights up and teaches you how to solve it. Since the LED built into the corner part indicates the direction to turn, you can align the surfaces by simply turning according to the instructions from the mixed state.
JUNECUBE can be played on its own, but it also provides content such as "missions", "timers", and "games" in conjunction with the app. You can also use it as a mood light by adjusting the brightness of the LED. By the end of 2019, we plan to offer a smartphone app on the Apple app store or Google Play.
The size of the main body is 65 x 65 x 65 mm, which is one size larger than the original, and weighs 180 g. It can be fully charged in 1 hour and can be played for about 10 hours. Supports Bluetooth BLE communication. Each color on the surface is made of a transparent acrylic plate and can be exchanged for the color of your choice.
JUNECUBE is available now for a limited early bird price of $59. The set consists of the main unit, charger (micro USB cable not included), and manual. It is scheduled to ship in February 2020, and the shipping fee to Japan is $ 10 (about 1060 yen).
JUNECUBE is currently crowdfunding until September 27, 2019. As of August 26, about $9,300 (about 980,000 yen) has been collected against the target amount of $25,000 (about 2,660,000 yen).
