Steering is an important functional component responsible for "running," "turning," "stopping," and "turning" of automobiles, and requires a higher level of safety during autonomous driving. In anticipation of the spread of autonomous driving, we have defined a unique safety concept "JFOPS * 3" for steering functions, and made it possible to provide EPS with safety according to the autonomous driving level.
